Every repair we perform is backed by a 12-month warranty, and governed by a set of clear service conditions to protect both our customers and our technicians.Section A: Warranty Terms
We treat every customer like family. That’s why we go the extra mile to ensure your satisfaction with every repair. Below are the full terms of our repair warranty.1. Hassle-Free Support
If an issue arises within the warranty period, our team is here to assist—no extra charges, no questions asked. However, in some cases where a warranty request requires investigation at your location or the use of our courier service, a call-out fee or courier charge may apply. If, after inspection, it’s found that the issue is unrelated to the original repair (e.g. accidental damage), the fee will remain applicable.2. Liquid Damage
Repairs for liquid-damaged devices are not covered under warranty due to the risk of ongoing internal issues. In some cases, a limited warranty between 3 to 12 months may be offered depending on the repair. We recommend using protective cases to avoid future liquid exposure.3. Software Issues
Our warranty applies only to hardware repairs. It does not cover software-related issues such as battery drainage, slow performance, or connectivity problems—especially if compatible parts were selected. These issues rarely occur with OEM or genuine parts.4. Data Loss
We are not responsible for any data loss during repair. Please back up your device before service. Devices requiring advanced board-level repair carry a higher risk of data inaccessibility.5. Warranty Initiation
To request a warranty review, email support@irepairman.co.uk with a short video, low-resolution photos, and a description of the issue. Our team will review and respond within 24 hours or the earliest possible time.6. Compatible vs. OEM Parts
We use high-quality compatible, OEM, and Service Pack parts. Unless OEM parts are requested, compatible parts are used by default. Our warranty does not cover dissatisfaction with compatible parts if selected during booking. All parts come with a 12-month warranty for genuine defects.7. Call-Out Fees
Call-out fees vary based on distance from our London office. Website prices usually include a local call-out. However, remote bookings may incur a surcharge. If a visit is cancelled upon arrival or within 1 hour of ETA notice, a non-refundable fee of £15–£20 applies.- Separate call-out charges apply per visit.

8. Screen Lines or Colour Bleeding
Our warranty excludes screen defects such as vertical lines, colour bleeding, or screen damage caused by pressure or bending. Only manufacturing faults like unresponsive touch or spontaneous display failure (with no physical damage) are covered.9. Courier Charges Fee
We offer nationwide pick-and-drop service. Courier fees typically range from £15–£25, depending on your location. These fees apply even for warranty inspections, unless otherwise stated during booking.10. Third-Party Repairs
If your device is opened or tampered with by another repairer after our service, your warranty becomes void. Please contact us directly if issues arise—we are happy to re-assess under warranty if our conditions are still met.11. Repair Turnaround Time Disclaimer
While most on-site repairs are completed within 20–30 minutes, some cases (e.g. board repair, liquid damage, or parts ordering) may require 2–5 working days. We provide regular updates via WhatsApp or SMS every 24–48 hours. If the device belongs to a child or is urgently needed, let us know at booking—we will prioritise your case.12. Continued Faults After Warranty Repair
If the same issue persists after a warranty repair, we’ll recheck the device free of charge. If the fault is found to be new or unrelated (e.g. battery after charging port), a new quote may be issued before work proceeds.13. Screen Fault Coverage (Clarified Conditions)
Our warranty covers screen-related faults only if caused by a manufacturing defect or part failure—such as non-responsive touch, ghost touch, flickering, or spontaneous blackouts—with no evidence of pressure or impact.Warranty does not cover:
- Dead pixels caused by pressure, bending, or frame flexing
- Vertical or horizontal lines from twisting or compression
- Colour bleeding or LCD leakage after pocket pressure or minor drops
- Cracks, even hairline or under-glass ones, appearing post-installation
All screens are tested and photographed during installation. Any signs of impact, bending, or external pressure invalidate the warranty. If unsure whether your issue is covered, please contact us with photos and a short video so we can assess it fairly.
Section B: General Service Conditions
In addition to warranty terms, our service conditions set the framework for transparency, trust, and professionalism in every booking.14. Accurate Device Model & Quote Confirmation
We rely on accurate device model information to provide fair and correct quotes. If the device model shared at the time of booking is incorrect, pricing may change. No additional work will be done without your agreement on updated costs.15. Customer Communication & Follow-Up
We aim to reply to all emails, texts, and voicemails within 24 business hours. If unavailable (e.g. weekends, travel, emergencies), we use automated SMS/email replies.
